Hello! I hope this package has found you well. As I've already detailed in my previous correspondence, this puzzle box has confounded me to no end. I have not the patience nor the acumen for such an endeavor—at least not like my Uncle Gideon. It is my hope that you can reveal whatever it was he decided to hide away inside that dreadful thing. I wish I could provide greater guidance.
The most I can offer you is this torn bit of letter originally attached to the box.
I've searched extensively for the missing piece but it appears that what I've sent is all that remains. Nevertheless, I maintain that if anyone will open this infernal crate, it will be you.
P.S. Against my better judgement I've reset the initial locking mechanism to make the box safer in transit. To unlock it, enter "South," "West," "East," then "North" using the buttons on top of the box. Godspeed!
My dearest nephew,
I deciphered the wonderful little puzzles hidden in this box. What great fun! I wanted to pass along the same joys I found, so I've reset its mechanisms and sent it back your way with something of my own hidden inside. Just keep in mind that the box can only be opened

If you have troubles, all ... to do is to simply ... and ... [much of the letter's final portion is cut off]
...is what I would say. However, this is but a proof of concept at the moment. The true puzzles have yet to truly be discovered.
There are a lot of core features still under development, so please check back later to see the full implementation of "The Mysterious Puzzle Box."
In the mean time, feel free to check out the link below to a prototypes page which showcases some functionality for the main puzzle types in the final build.
